About Donna:
Hello everyone! My name is Donna “Bethel” Fontaine. I am the senior
member of the group.

I am blessed to have a wonderful heritage of gospel music dating back at
least three generations before me. And it is my greatest honor to sing
with my daughter (Wendy) and youngest sister (Deanna). Not only are
they my family, they are also my best friends.

In a recent interview, I was asked about my favorite things to do…

I have several hobbies; sewing, decorating, reading, writing, and of
course music. But, my favorite thing by far is the study of God’s Word
and being alone with God in prayer. I am so blessed to have a room in
my home totally dedicated as my office, library, and prayer room. When
the everyday pressures and stresses of life invade my mind and body, I
seek refuge and solitude in the quietness of my little room. My favorite
and best hours are those spent in communion with my Blessed Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ!

I absolutely love “The Word of God”. I love all the promises of the
Word. However, it does concern me that most people today desire the
promises without the conditions. There are always conditions…

Paul tells us in Colossians 1: 21-23

THE PROMISE: (21) “And you, that were sometime alienated and
enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. (22)
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and
unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:”

THE CONDITION:  (23) “ If ye continue in the faith grounded and
settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye
have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under
heaven.”

My prayer and aim is to continue in the faith, being grounded and settled
in The Word… “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13)

My personal goal is twofold; to be an encourager to my brothers and
sisters in Christ Jesus; and to present Jesus to a lost and dying world.
