Statements from Artists and Groups in the Southern Gospel Music Industry, who have been
represented or misrepresented by The Heaven Bound Talent Agency and mislead by a man
named Wade Weaver. These statements are true, copied and pasted directly from email, and
these Artists have given consent to post their testimonies.

Recently we were contacted by a booking agent/talent agency about joining his group of artists. He said the right things
and promised things we wanted to hear. He would book and promote us in areas of the country that we have not been.
He would also prepare a demo that he would send out to radio in these new areas to help promote upcoming
appearances. He would handle the contract with the venues and all the details of the tour - and all for 10% of the offering
and nothing from the product table. He would require a $175. deposit from us that would cover his initial expenses of
representing us. This would be refunded after one year. We needed to act fast because the demo with his artist was going
to duplication next week. Yeah, this should have been a red flag but we were eager to expand our area so we sent a
check. He called back and said that his bank would not accept the check (another big red flag). I told him that I've never
heard of a bank not taking a check. It was from our business account from a national bank. But the next day I sent a
cashiers check...this time for $225. See.... he was having a showcase for his artists at NQC and if we wanted to be
included we had to pay $50. to cover the cost of the showcase. We needed to act soon because all of the prime time
spots were filling up. Yeah, the red flag is smacking us in the face at this point and poking us in the eye with the pole it's
mounted on.

So we join the Heaven Bound Talent Agency under the direction of Mr. Wade Weaver. We give him some weekends to
cover. Meanwhile, the first check clears. He calls and announces that the bank did after all accept the first check and that
he would send back the difference. He also cashed the cashiers check. More discussions about dates occur but we never
get any bookings. The conversations with Mr. Weaver become more bizarre and his language is questionable. Although
we did talk to some of the artists in his group initially, most had only a two or three week knowledge of Mr. Weaver too.
We heard "seems like a great guy". Weeks go by and we never get a refund check for the amount that we overpaid. Each
week we get a new excuse... "Well I turned it over to the office manager to pay" then becoming "I used the wrong address
and it was returned". We never get our money back, we never get any bookings.

Many more lies are uncovered and many other groups are taken. He actually was selling tickets to an event that advertised
several artist like Dottie Rambo and Charles Johnson. We discovered that they were never booked for the event. We
talked to the manager of the venue and the deposit reserving the weekend had never been received. Last we heard of Mr.
Weaver his address and phone number were changed.  We received an e-mail from one of the other groups who has a
member in law enforcement. He states....there are 87 offenses against Wade Weaver including hot checks, theft, scams,
verbal abuse, & harassment. He is falsely advertising Southern Gospel Music groups and stealing their money...
So, we learn a lesson and move on. I don't want to mistrust people - especially in our industry. Maybe we should look at
it as another lesson from God to not let our wants override our judgment. Beside the obvious lessons about checking
references etc, how should we look at this experience?

Within the last year my Mom (Donna Fontaine) was contacted by a man named Wade Weaver. He said he was a
promoter and owned an agency named Heavenbound Talent Agency. He told us that Kenny Eubanks of the gospel
group Heavenbound had signed all rights over to him and that he owned the name “Heavenbound”.  We have never laid
eyes on this man even until today.  All of Mr. Weaver’s intentions and the things he said he would do seemed great to us
and thought he could be a great help to us since we are not in the Southern Gospel Music belt. We thought he could open
some more doors. The Bethels as a group sent money to Wade Weaver. We sent a check that included the cost of
$175.00 for membership and $50.00 to be a part of a showcase for the NQC (we were told to send it fast due to slots
filling up for the NQC). We also sent him a package that included about $300.00 worth of promotional material to send
out to churches. In Mr. Weavers contract he states that he would book us for the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month so
that we could still fill our area dates.  Wade again contacted my mother (Donna) to ask her if I (Wendy) would build him
a website. She told Mr. Weaver that she did not know and that he would have to ask me about it. I did not know
anything about this until I was contacted by Mr. Weaver at 3:00 a.m. in the morning. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN
MY FIRST CLUE! Even though my husband was already aggravated at him calling at 3:00 a.m. I still did the best I could
to help Mr. Weaver out.  I am a very busy person. I travel most weekends with our ministry and I am a stay at home
Mom with three kids. The first thing I told Mr. Weaver was that I did not have much time to spare. I told Mr. Weaver
that I would build him a website for $500.00, which is much less than a lot of people charge. Website work is very time
consuming and I figured that if he had a professional agency he could at least afford that. Mr. Weaver and I agreed that
he could pay me several installments. He could not pay the whole amount up front. I did as I said I would do and set his
website up. Mr. Weaver sent his payments slowly but surely, but was also VERY worried about the bank I cashed his
check through. His first payment was in a personal check and the rest were sent so that I had to cash them at the post
office. I thought this was very strange!!! After the initial set up, I explained to Mr. Weaver that the website work would
be an on going job because of him changing artists in and out and changing his news page once a month. Mr. Weaver
asked me if I would keep up the website if he paid me from time to time. I agreed!  His plans for me did not stop at the
website. For some reason he slowly had a way of manipulating me into helping him more. He started having me make up
schedules, posters for events, business cards, and etc. I slowly became his secretary with no salary. Wade did all his
business with Artists and etc. through three-way calls. I started to get VERY suspicious of Mr. Weaver. He had me
changing artists in and out and I could not figure out why. He had put me into a position where I was working with all the
artists. I had Artists trying to contact me and Wade would tell me not to answer them because they were only causing
trouble. I believe God was showing me all along because he gave me a sickening feeling in my stomach over all of this.
The spirit within me was telling me that something was just not right! My sickening feeling grew worse when I heard him
talk ugly about groups and use foul language. My last straw was when Mr. Weaver talked to me about things that a
Christian man has no business talking to a women about. I felt that it was time for me to find out who this man really was,
since I was doing his work and we (The Bethels) had sent him money and he had NEVER come through on his end of
the deal. He NEVER booked us any dates. He also NEVER continued to pay me anything after the initial set up of the
website. After paying $50.00 for a background check, actually talking to other groups that had also been involved with
the agency (they had the same story), Groups that had been on the website that never knew they were on there and had
no idea who Mr. Weaver was, and also finding out that there were groups that had been scheduled to appear at events
without their consent. It became VERY clear what was going on!  Mr. Weaver was in no way the man he said he was
and the things that he had been telling me were all lies. I had to pray very hard over all of this…and find it in my heart to
pray for a man that used me to further his false agency.  It has made me VERY afraid of helping anyone again.  In the
time that I have gone through all of this, I have gotten to know many many groups that I have grown to love as friends,
some will be life long friends. That has been the one thing that has been good in all of this. The Bible tells us to be set
apart from evil and I know that is what God would have me do. I do not have to convince anyone of my credibility.
Anyone that knows me can tell you that I have a good heart and my true focus is seeing lives changed. The criminal
history that I paid for showed that Mr. Weaver has had a previous record. I believe people can change, but with all the
groups that have given statements about their dealings with Mr. Weaver it is questionable. I pray for Mr. Weaver and
hope that he will quit doing this to innocent people. If you are an artist in this industry and you are thinking about someone
promoting you please know what you are getting yourself into. Do research and find out the persons history. It is a free
country and when you invest your hard earned money, you have every right to check it out. A person who is honest, with
good morals and has upstanding values has nothing to hide. That is what you call a Christian!

My name is Mary and I'm the secretary for the Dotson Family Quartet. Our group was invited to participate in the show
in Gray Tenn on July 4th & 5th. We were again contacted by Wade about 2 weeks prior to pay for our hotel rooms that
were reserved. Wade took down our credit card info and the $411 payment was withdrawn. I called the hotel on July
1st to find out where it was located, and check on the two reserved rooms such as check-in time and etc. The clerk
advised me that our rooms had not been paid for and if someone did not arrive by 4 pm to pay for them, we would lose
our rooms. Mrs Dotson immediately got on the phone and tried to reach Wade. We tried several times only to get his
voice mail. He finally returned our call hours later, and Christine told him that she wasn't going to pay for those rooms
twice, that the rooms BETTER BE PAID FOR by the time we arrived on Thursday July 3rd. Haha, they were!

The day of the show, on our way in, we saw no advertising anywhere! All the groups that had agreed to appear were
there. We spent the entire 2 days singing to the other groups. Maybe a handful of other people from the public attended.
Don't get me wrong, we had a great time just making new friends and hearing the other groups, but this was absolutely
ridiculous. From what I understand, The Easter Brothers were told they would be paid by Wade for their appearance.
Well, after a (very small) love offering was collected and given to them, they packed up their gear before their second set
and they left. Wade spent most of his day running around selling drawing tickets for items such as CD's, T-shirts and etc
that he forcebly collected (without asking) from each groups table while there in attendance. He said it was to benefit
Heaven Bound charities. He even sold tickets for a 37" TV that would be drawn for at the end of the second day July
5th. When the last drawing was held, the TV was no where to be seen, and when I questioned him as to "where's the
TV" he said the man never showed up with it. (Sure Wade), he just flat out lied to everyone.

He made a mistake on scheduling on July 4th, and The Imperials did their second set before our group. They (The
Imperials) jokingly said on stage that they were about to have a 1st, opening for The Dotson Family, haha. Wade told
The Imperials that after they finished their 2nd set, he would take them all out to dinner. Well when they finished, Wade
had already high-tailed it out of there and was no where to be found.

Scott Allen came up to me on the second day July 5th and told me that he ran into Wade that same night back at the
hotel's vending machine while he (Wade) was purchasing soda's for him & his lady friend. Wade stuttered and said that
he had pizza's waiting for them in his room and for them to come by and pick them up. When the guys went by, the
pizza's were already half eaten.

Ok, now for the best part. Wade had promised when he asked us to come that he would get us booked at a local
church, so we could at least get a love offering to help us with our gas to Tennessee. He tells us on the last day of the
show (July 5th)  that he has us booked at a church in Stoney Creek for 8 am. He gives us (somewhat) directions to the
church, but we can never pin him down on any contact info. We all get up at 5 am, to prepare to travel to this church
(approx 20 miles away) and be there by 8 am. We go to Stoney Creek and drive and drive. Unable to locate the
church, we stop and ask the locals. No one has heard of this church. We drive more. Finally, we call one of the new
friends we met at the show. He tells us he has never heard of it either, but for us to just stay put and we can just go to
church with him and his family. Our friend arrives and we all follow him (motor home and all) and we all go to his church
and visit for the morning. After the service, the pastor tells us his wife was born and raised in Stoney Creek and there has
never been a church "EVER" with the name Wade had gave us. We were sent on a wide goose chase for a church that
did not nor ever will exist.
